Dr. Eliza Callwood

Pediatric Dentist

I love pediatric dentistry because it allows me to spend time with children as an advocate for their oral health. The ability to have a positive impact on developing youth is invaluable and I truly look forward to building long-standing, healthy relationships with my patients and their families. Having grown up in Vermont, I feel a strong connection and commitment to the community and the wonderful individuals that make this area so special.

Education and Continuing Education

I graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Studio Art. After a few years of working in the dental field, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015. I received a certificate in pediatric dentistry from Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. in 2017.

I am always looking to advance my professional skills to provide the highest quality of care. Communicating effectively with families to establish an understanding of their child’s needs and options is a priority of mine. I want for my patients and family members to be in an environment that is comfortable, fun and welcoming.

Outside the Office

I love going on adventures with husband, family and dog, Ziggy. I was a competitive swimmer throughout high school and college and now enjoy simply floating and paddle boarding. While I have become a little unaccustomed to Vermont winters, it is exciting to get back into skiing and snowboarding! I was raised in Shelburne and I am very much looking forward to sharing all Vermont has to offer with my husband, especially our traditional Sunday night dinners with my mother and my grandparents.
