I truly appreciate the opportunities dentistry provides me with to use my critical thinking and diagnostic skills while building long-term relationships with my young patients and their parents. The thing I love most about my patients is that they are all so different.

The dentistry that we practice and apply is second nature, based on training and experience. The people those teeth are attached to are like snowflakes: every single one is unique. Getting to know and learn about and experience all of these wonderful individuals is what makes this job so much fun!

My team and I are parents, and we’re also patients. I think we all take that approach in treating our patients and their parents how we would want to be treated. This approach is genuine, and creates an overall experience that isn’t just professional and experienced, but compassionate and caring as well.

Education and Continuing Education

I received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 2001, and went on to graduate from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City in 2006. I received a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2008, and am licensed to provide conscious sedation.

I try to empower patients to make the decisions they feel most comfortable with. By having a thorough understanding of both the cutting-edge and gold-standard treatment options, I can help my patients and their parents feel confident in their oral healthcare options.

Outside the Office

I am originally from Dobbs Ferry, New York . I currently live in Shelburne with my wife Erica who is a general dentist in Shelburne. We have four wonderful children, Sara, Summer, Grayson and Topher. I enjoy participating in my kids school and extra-curricular activities; supporting them and the programs they are a part of is always a priority.

I am a big believer in work-life balance and Vermont has so many ways to enjoy that balance ; biking, hiking, golf, tennis, boating in the summer and skiing in the winter!
